Stream: Creating better screencasts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Did you know there are some key steps when creating screencasts that can help students better engage with your recordings?<\/p>\n<p>The following advice will help to ensure all your students can use your screencasts.<\/p>\n<h2><span data-contrast=\"none\">Record good-quality audio<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" concentrate on your videos and <strong>recording clear audio from the outset will make your captions more accurate.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Using a separate microphone &#8211; rather than the one built in on your laptop \u2013 helps lower background noise and improves sound quality.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Where possible, use your headset microphone for a clearer voice and reduced background noise.<\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Check the quality of the audio with a test recording.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Remove as much ambient noise as possible, for
