If you haven\u2019t yet had a chance to see our brief video introduction in that post, do take a look.<\/p>\n<p>In this post, we\u2019d like to provide further details around the two launch stages, and when you\u2019ll get access to different products and features.<\/p>\n<h2>What\u2019s happening, and when?<\/h2>\n<p>The Yuja Learning Capture system is being launched in two stages.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>January 2022 &#8211; Soft Launch<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The soft launch<\/strong> is an opportunity for any member of staff to get to know the new system and experiment with creating, editing and sharing videos.<\/li>\n<li>There is <strong>no change<\/strong> to the 2021\/22 Teaching and Learning Framework.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>current Stream to Blackboard integration <\/strong>will continue to be the learning capture technology at Reading for the rest of this academic year.<\/li>\n<li><strong>There is no obligation to start using YuJa during the January 2022 soft launch<\/strong> &#8211; if you would like to continue using your existing method for creating your videos for the remainder of the 2021\/22 academic year, please do so.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>September 2022 &#8211; Fully-supported roll out<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>From September 2022<\/strong>, YuJa will be the University\u2019s Learning Capture solution.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lecture\/classroom capture<\/strong> will be fully rolled out in centrally-bookable rooms at Whiteknights and London Road.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019ll have access to <strong>a range of guidance and training<\/strong> to support your use of YuJa.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stream integration<\/strong> will no longer be created for new students. Don\u2019t worry \u2013 this will not affect existing Stream content, or any content you create during 2021\/22 academic year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Learning Capture Project Timeline<\/h2>\n<p>The following timeline shows where these activities fit within the project and what\u2019s planned for the year ahead.
