phase 3: Action
Phase 3 is where the findings from the previous phases are turned in to action. This means that any or all recommendations from phases one and two, are implemented in some manner. The implementation is naturally limited by any of a number of practical issues, and it is important to capture these issues when deciding how to, or how not to implement any advised changes.
Action:
Revise curriculum and teaching methods
It is important to:
- Discuss the methods of implementation at both the programme and modular level
- Identify recommendations for achieving constructive alignment
- Publish phase 3 recommendations and submit to curriculum board
Benefits:
- Auditable and measurable list of potential developments
- Highlighted innovative teaching approaches relevant to identified skills
- Constructive Alignment- LO's/pedagogy/assessment
