Examples of good practice at the university

Student Academic Transitions Toolkit > Examples of good practice at the university

Find out what colleagues across the university are doing in their practice to support student academic transitions.

Colleagues have kindly shared what they are doing to help support the academic transitions of their students – new students and those returning and progressing on to the next part of their programmes. The resources below detail the examples collated by the SAT Working Group during the summer of 2021. With thanks to colleagues who have shared this aspect of their practice.

Thematic summary of good practice examples (this document references the spreadsheet below so you may find it helpful to have both open)

Complete spreadsheet of good practice examples at UoR  (Note: this document is available to internal UoR staff only who will need to be logged in to Blackboard before accessing it)

*If you would like to contribute an example (or examples) of how you seek to support student academic transitions in your own practice, please use this form. Contributions will be added to the good practice spreadsheet, above, and you will be notified by email of your addition. We’d love to develop our record of good practice to share with colleagues so please do share your ideas and experience.
