ENGAGE IN FEEDBACK
Taking a coherent, programme approach to feedback means considering the feedback students will receive across the programme and during each part. Each feedback occasion will be suggesting the next learning steps for the student on their journey towards the graduate attributes.
It is appropriate to follow an assessment audit with a feedback audit: how does the student know where they are in terms of their academic performance, how do they know what to do next to make progress (feed forward)?
It is important to involve students in the process of evaluating feedback. How else can we know if feedback is having the desired effect?
Please find our downloadable ''Focus on Feedback - Top Tips from and for colleagues'' resource here. The additional resources on this page provide information and guidance on how to provide quality and timely feedback. Programme Directors and module conveners may find these useful when planning assessment and feedback at the level of the programme and module.
