Directions to the venue for 25 October 2019 in the South-East EAP event, University of Reading

Directions once on the Whiteknights campus:

Please come to the Main Entrance (Entrance 1) of the Edith Morley Building, by the café (building 1 circled on the map below). Take the stairs up to the second floor, turn right and head for Room 230, the Self-Access Centre for Language Learning (also called SACLL), along the corridor on the right.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Getting to Reading and the campus:  Train services to Reading are excellent. From the station (South Exit) claret buses, numbers 21/21a, are scheduled approximately every 7 minutes from stop EK and will drop you off inside the campus, outside Whiteknights House, (black dot circled on the map below). This a one-minute walk from the Edith Morley building. The cost for an adult single is £2 and you will need the exact change or a contactless card.  Alternatively, there are black cabs outside the station main entrance. If you would like to advance book a taxi for your return journey, the university recommended taxi company is Yellow Cars: http://www.yellcars.com/ or 0118 9 660 660.

 

 

 

Driving to the event:  If you wish to drive to the event, you can leave your car at Car Park 1A (circled on the map below).   The recommended entrance is Shinfield Road, sat nav postcode RG6 6UR. The cost is £1.50 per hour and you must display a valid ticket available from the ticket machines in the car park. The machines accept credit/debit cards for payment. There are normally spaces available on Fridays.
