About Us

Welcome to the University of Reading Speech and Language Therapy Clinic

· We have been training speech and language therapists since 1965.

· Our course was ranked No.1 for Speech and Language Therapy in the UK, in 2025.

· Our clinic is part of the University. It is specially designed for training students, and research in speech and language therapy.

· Our clinic has specially designed rooms which include observation rooms and recording facilities.

· We work with both children and adults who have speech, language, or communication needs.

· Our clinics are free. They run at certain times during the University year.

· Students lead clinic sessions as part of their training. They may watch sessions or help with a small number of clients. Every student is closely supervised by a fully qualified and experienced speech and language therapist.
