What to do with your Courses from Previous Years

Please do not make courses unavailable once teaching has ended. University policy, as agreed by DELT in 2010, is that courses from previous years should remain available.

The underlying principle is that students should be able to see all of the Blackboard courses relevant to their programme of study, until they complete i.e. a final year student should be able to access all of their 1st and 2nd year Blackboard courses. This is to aid revision, and to enable students to access the feedback received earlier in their studies.

If you still have unanswered questions on the Rollover process, log them with it@reading.ac.uk. The TEL team will also be running a series of staff training sessions from September onwards – see the CQSD website for details.
