Climate and Sustainable Education Event @ Holme Grange School, Wokingham – Thursday 6th October: refreshments from 4pm, event 4.15 – 5.15pm
This free event is part of our primary science teacher network being hosted by the inspirational Leanne Hughes, Sustainability Lead at Holme Grange school.
Holme Grange School have invested in sustainability and all staff irrespective of their role have undertaken a children and climate change course, a further 8 members of staff are accredited climate literacy specialists.
They launched a bespoke Climate Bravery Course in September 2021 to all Year 9 students and have now introduced a new course into Year 7.
They have a range of areas on their site where seasonal fruit and vegetables are grown and biodiversity flourishes. Join Leanne as she takes you on a guided tour of their grounds and provides simple advice to get you started on your own sustainability journey.
