University of Reading Blackboard
‘Blackboard’ is the University’s online learning platform which contains the resources you need from your School, programme, and modules. It is also where you will submit your coursework electronically, when required.
Each module that you study will use its own Blackboard Course. Additionally, you may be enrolled onto Blackboard Organisations, which provide key information from your programme, School or Department, study skills or student wellbeing.
Please watch the Blackboard intro video, and after completing your In-person enrolment, follow the Getting started guides below.
Accessing Blackboard
Access to Blackboard requires your university IT account username (e.g., abc1234@student.reading.ac.uk) to be setup and requires Multi-factor authentication with your MS 365 login.
To get these you must complete the steps, as part of your Welcome to Reading process.
