This guide relates only to assignments created using the new Turnitin LTI assignment tool.

Editing a Turnitin LTI submission point via the Blackboard Editor

Click Edit from the contextual menu for the Blackboard content item to make changes.

Here you can edit:

• Assignment title
• Points possible
• Visible to Students (controls the visibility of the assignment to students via My Marks and Feedback)
• Assignment start date
• Assignment due date
• Instructions to students

The term ‘Visible to Students‘ refers to the Grade Centre column. For summative assignments No should be selected, this will hide the Grades Centre column.

Add/Edit Assignment Instructions

Write the submission point instructions in the description area of the editing page. You can use all the formatting options.
