If you have tests you wish to re-use across multiple courses, or wish to copy from a previous year, you can use the copy content function to add them to a course.
Go to the course you wish to add the test to. In the content area where you wish to add the test select Copy Content from the plus menu.
Search for the course you wish to copy the content from. Click the course title to open.
In the course content menu for items to copy, you can choose from Content, and search for the test.
You can also select the Question Banks option if you wish to copy specific banks of questions, but not necessarily the test. This can be useful for creating tests in the future or giving you a wider selection within the course.
In this example we are copying a Formative test, and so have used the Content > Find Test option. Select the test or tests you wish to copy.
Once you have selected the necessary items click Start Copy.
The test will appear in the content are you have selected. All question content will be intact from the copied test, but the results will not be copied across.
