This seminar will start with a summary of key points proposed in the new SEND review and how they affect SEND provision in schools.
Professor Cathy Tissot and Dr Anna Tsakalaki of the PG Cert SENCo programme at the Institute of Education (UoR) will give an overview of main changes before they open the discussion up for the audience to offer their views and ask questions relevant to their role.
We welcome teachers, SENCos or aspiring SENCos, teaching assistants and other professionals working with children and young persons with SEND for an interactive session on successful SEND provision in schools.
