Multiple Attempt Options

When Setting up a Blackboard assignment, you may choose to allow multiple attepts so that students can submit a draft copy or revise some elements before the deadline. Usually these are marked based on the final submission made. Attempts to Mark: Last Attempt

However you can set up Mark all attempts to allow marking at various points in the assessment – this can allow feedback to be given on a piece of work and the student to improve the work based on the feedback.

When using mark All attempts you can choose from the Final mark calculation drop down menu to give the mark based on the average of all marks, the highest mark or the lowest mark.
