Get Together

One of the funded Staff Welfare Projects; ‘Get Together’ is a event for staff to meet new colleagues and learn something interesting in a relaxed, friendly environment.

The first event was held on 2nd May 2019 with close to 400 colleagues dropping in between 10.00AM and 1.30PM.

The second event was held on 16th September 2019 to launch Wellbeing Week 2019, another Staff Welfare Project, organised in a collaboration between Staff Forum and Occupational Health Services.

.

Between 10:00 and 13:30, people dropped in to learn something new, see something new or just say hello. The School of Mathematical, Physical and Computational Sciences (SMPCS) ran demonstrations, colleagues from Estates gave tours of University buildings and lots of free tea & coffee was consumed!

“What a brilliant event!”
