Come along and get-together with colleagues from all over the University for a gentle re-introduction to the pleasures of being on campus. The Get Together will offer colleagues the opportunity to come together and find out more about projects and activities going on across the campuses.

Previous Get Together events have included:

16 June 2022 – Palmer Building Around 80 members of staff Came along to the get-together from all over the University for a gentle re-introduction to the pleasures of being on campus. The Get Together offered colleagues the opportunity to come together and find out more about projects and activities going on across the campuses.

Refreshments were provided (including ice cream van!)

The second event was held on 16th September 2019 to launch Wellbeing Week 2019, another Staff Welfare Project, organised in a collaboration between Staff Forum and Occupational Health Services.

2nd May 2019 

The first ‘Get Together’ event was held for staff to meet new colleagues and learn something interesting in a relaxed, friendly environment.  Close to 400 colleagues droped in between 10.00AM and 1.30PM.

People dropped in to learn something new, see something new or just say hello. The School of Mathematical, Physical and Computational Sciences (SMPCS) ran demonstrations, colleagues from Estates gave tours of University buildings and lots of free tea & coffee was consumed!
