Working with Assessments in an Ultra course
Key information
Electronic Management of Assessment (EMA) at the University of Reading is all the processes that come together to facilitate electronic submission, feedback and grading (eSFG) of summative assessment. Formative assessment does not need to follow these processes.
Programme Administrators run EMA tasks and processes.
How it works?
EMA in the University of Reading has at it’s core the integration of the records management system RISIS and, the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), Blackboard Learn Ultra. Support Centre staff follow recommended workflows for summative assessment which involve setting up all submission points and transferring the marks from Blackboard to RISIS via EMA integration.
