Blackboard Learn: Practice Courses

Any staff member is entitled to a Blackboard Practice Course.

You can use your Practice Course to test out any of the features of Blackboard.

You can also use it to set up a Blackboard Collaborate room which can be used for academic meetings not directly related to a specific course e.g. tutorial sessions.

Find your Practice Course

If you have attended any TEL training sessions, you almost certainly already have a Practice Course. You can find your practice course in your list of Courses either by setting the filter to Sandbox or searching your own username.

Create a Practice Course

If you do not have a Practice Course and you are a member of staff at the University of Reading, you can create one via the Create a Practice Course tool located on the Help page on Blackboard.
