At the University of Reading, we recognise that hospitality operations can have a huge impact on the environment. To tackle this, we’re committed to delivering services that are environmentally sustainable.
RESOURCE USE AND WASTE
We aim to be an efficient user of resources and prevent waste being created in the first place; and then to reduce, re-use, recycle and recover items and materials.
BIODIVERSITY AND GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE
The Biodiversity and Green Infrastructure workstream will oversee the production and delivery of a Biodiversity Plan for the University & to monitor initiatives to promote biodiversity on the University’s estate.
