Welcome to Doing #UoR Bit for students!

Sustainability Services are proud to announce the launch of our new sustainable action platform for students, Doing #UoR Bit. This has been made possible by the generosity of donors to the University of Reading IMAGINE campaign and amazing support from RUSU to the prize fund.

Earn prizes for being sustainable
As part of our goal to become a world-leading institution for sustainability, the University of Reading is rewarding its students for making sustainable choices at home and at the university.

Doing #UoRBit is an app and online platform where you can record your sustainable actions – like travelling sustainably, reporting your recycling and shopping responsibly – and earn Green Points. Each month, there will be 25 prizes given away to our top Green Points earners with a choice of Boobalou and ASDA vouchers or bus tickets and limited-edition hoodies. There will also be 50 prizes raffled from any user who has earnt Green Points that month. Our prize winners are only chosen based on points earned each month, so no matter when you join, you’ll have the same chance to win!

Doing #UoRBit also gives you the chance to win prizes for your team on a bigger scale. Each term, the top earning sports society will win £350 from RUSU to spend on their team and the top earning department will win £300 to donate to their voted charity (voting can be done on the homepage).

The Doing #UoRbit programme offers a great opportunity for you to get rewarded for making positive changes in your life. Some of the activities can also count towards your RED Sustainable Action award!

Simply go to www.doinguorbit.co.uk, select whether you want to download the app or use the desktop version and we’ll reward you with 1,250 to get you started on your Doing #UoRbit journey.

With grateful thanks to the University of Reading IMAGINE campaign and Reading University Students Union.

Please note that the Doing #UoRBit platform is run by Jump (Green Rewards Ltd), who are a separate organisation to the University of Reading and therefore users are subject to the terms and privacy policy of Jump.
