The DAT Community of Practice meets termly to discuss matters of interest to the group, as well as to share experiences/best practice and to support each other in the role. Speakers from outside the CoP are sometimes invited to share information that is relevant and/or to seek the group’s feedback or ideas. There is also an email list (cqsd-dats@lists.reading.ac.uk) which is used by members to share ideas, ask questions and gather insights into aspects of the role, as well as by other university staff to disseminate information relevant to DATs and Academic Tutors.
The 2023-24 chair of the CoP is Bob Rastall (SCFP). Meetings will be held in October, February and May (dates tbc).
