The workshop, led by Directors of Academic Tutoring along with staff from the Centre for Quality Support and Development (CQSD) and the Electronic Management of Assessment (EMA) project, will explore the role of an Academic Tutor in practice, and the skills required to promote dialogic learning and to help you support your tutees to be successful at university and beyond. There will be opportunities for colleagues to share examples of good practice in academic tutoring, and the session will also provide a comprehensive overview of the new Student Progress Dashboard and how to make best use of this tool in student meetings to support tutees’ academic development.
